Vendor application and selection process
The market follows the 80% / 20% split rule that is governed by the Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market program, administered by Alberta Agriculture & Forestry whereby 80% of vendor products must be produced in Alberta/BC and 20% of vendor products may be produced outside of Alberta/BC, or are fair trade or imported products that complement the market mix.
Vendors will be evaluated against specific criteria of the including:
-Products are Made, Baked or Grown by the vendor
-Products are Made, Baked or Grown in Alberta or BC
-Quality and uniqueness of product
-Type of vendor to ensure variety
-Organic or natural based products
-Environmentally conscious vendors
-Vendors history of compliance with market rules
Cost and Stall Size Range
$50-$55 for 10×10 booth
Re-selling allowed

Special Vendor Requirements
All vendors are required to hold valid insurance to participate in the market. A certificate of insurance must be provided prior to your first market date. Food vendors must have $2 million liability insurance and all other vendors must have $1 million liability insurance.
Bow Valley residents will be given priority if they meet the selection criteria and their product is of equal or greater quality.
Vendors with fresh produce and/or artisanal food and beverage products will be given priority.
