Food Vendor Guidelines
All food vendors will be set up in our Food Court section.
All foods prepared on site will require an Interior Health Temporary Operating Permit.
Selling packaged goods does not require a permit if it’s a non potentially hazardous food. For example, chips or cookies and other low risk foods. However, potentially hazardous foods (foods that can grow bacteria) that require cold holding/hot holding will require an Interior Health Permit as we need to know how they are storing the food safely.
Selling packaged goods made from home do not require a permit but only for lower risk foods. Higher risk foods are not allowed to be made at home and must be done in a commercial kitchen. They will require a permit.
Sampling Food/Coffee will require a permit. The only time coffee does not require a permit is if is black coffee.
